Can't Wait Wendesday

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Tressa at Wishful Endings, which spotlights books we're looking forward to reading. Typically its books that have yet to be released, but can be any book you've been wanting to read.

This is the fourth book in the Brothers Maldetti series, they could probably stand on their own, but I'd recommend reading them in order. I recently read the first three books and was bummed when I finished the third book and realized the next one wasn't out yet. Just a few days later I found out book four will be released in April! I'm so looking forward to it!

A Madness Most Discreet by Nichole Van
Brothers Maldetti, Book Four
Urban Fantasy Romance
Publication Date: April 19, 2018

Tennyson D’Angelo . . .
Darkness lives within each of us. Shadows. We are each capable of great goodness and unbelievable evil. It is the duality of being human. I want to live in the light. I don’t enjoy the shadows. But I’m not sure I’ve been given a choice in the matter. The shadows own me. They dance at my edges and tangle in my light. They torment my days and make my nights an anguished hell. I simply want to be free. One way . . . or another.

The call him the Prophet.
Tennyson D’Angelo, the man who can foretell the future. A modern-day oracle.
And Olivia D’screte desperately needs his help. She tracks him down in Italy, begging for his assistance. She has a life-or-death problem that only a bonafide psychic can solve. But Tennyson is slowly fracturing from within, the weight of the D’Angelo curse destroying him.
Olivia and Tennyson join forces, each searching for answers. But their understanding of the D’Angelo curse keeps changing, and Time is not on their side.

Even as they fall in love, Tennyson and Olivia realize they are in a race against the clock. Will they find answers in time to save themselves?

That cover. Wow. I really enjoyed the first book in this series, Beauty and the Clockwork Beast, and was excited when I found out it was going to be a series. Sounds like this book will be a Sleeping Beauty retelling. I can't wait!

My Sister's Intended by Rachael Anderson
Traditional Regency Romance
HEA Publishing - March 2018

For as long as Prudence can remember, it has been understood that her sister will one day wed the eldest son of their nearest neighbor. Such an alliance will benefit both families and bring a great deal of joy to all parents involved.

Unfortunately, Prudence has never been able to feel as joyful. She believes her sister is mad to consider marrying a man she hardly knows, even if he will one day make her a countess. Titles and wealth shouldn't factor into matters of the heart, and as an aspiring romance novelist, Prudence cannot fathom how anyone could even think of settling for less than love. She certainly wouldn’t, and she doesn't want her sister to either.

Unable to stand by and do nothing, Prudence sets out to help the awkward couple discover the best in each other with the hope that they will eventually find love. What she neglected to foresee, however, was the possibility that she might fall in love with Lord Knave herself.

I really enjoy Historicals, especially ones set in America. The premise for this one sounds really good, and I adore the cover. I've never read anything by Pam Hillman before, this looks like a great one to start with.

by Amy Matayo and Nicole Deese
Contemporary Romance
Published: Sometime 2015 (I hope/think)

Synopsis from Goodreads:
There are two sides to every story...whose will you believe?
Noah Jennings and Lexi Reese may have experienced the same fateful collision early one November morning, yet their testimonies under oath are none too similar.

Somebody's lying.

Maybe it's him. Maybe it's her.

Maybe it's just another case of he said/she said.

Or maybe it's something else entirely.

Why I'm Waiting:
Ms. Matayo and Ms. Deese are two of my favorite authors. I've only found them recently, but enhoy their books quite a bit. When I heard they were teaming up to write this contemporary romance I knew I had to have it. It was supposed to come out earlier this year, but has been pushed back. I'm not sure when it'll be released, but I'll keep you posted. I know I'll be the first in line.
