Suggestions, please!

Tyler and I are heading out for a road trip next week! Our newest adventure will be taking us up the beautiful west coast, from San Diego to Seattle (and then back again). Since we'll be spending many hours in the car, I will need some really good books to keep me entertained in between all our fun stops. So, I'm hoping you can help provide some great road trip book ideas. What is your favorite book? What book do you like to take with you on vaca? Or, just a fun read that you'd think I might like. I look forward to seeing what you come up with!! Thanks!!

  1. I LOVED the Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I also just finished FarWorld by J. Scott Savage, which was very good. Let me think.... The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman was good, Dairy Queen by Catherine Gilbert Murdock, Wildwood Dancing by Juliet Marillier, anything by Shannon Hale, or Jessica Day George. There are a few for you!;)

  2. Thanks Chantele! I also loved Hunger Games, I can't wait until Catching Fire comes out, what a great series! I also loved Wildwood Dancing, did you read the sequel Cybele's Secret, it was also really good.

So, I've narrowed it down to the following five. All sound really good and I'm excited to read them. Graveyard Book, Vampire Academy, Uglies, Court Duel, and Magic Lost Trouble Found.

  3. Whenever my husband and I go on long drives, we listen to books on tape together. We really like books by Clive Cussler. They have a lot of action and are entertaining for both of us. I don't think I could read them from the book though. The guy that reads them does a really good job.
