I'm not normally a Stansfield fan but I've read this book before and it is a dramatic and outlandish love affair that gets me every time.
That paragraph jogged my memory and I did read this one. It's a trilogy or something I think. Yes I admit to liking it.

It's from a great book called Mrs. Mike by Benedict and Nancy Freedman
I read some of her books a long time ago. That was a good teaser. I'm interested.
